Books on architecture
Christmas is approaching, and with that in mind I would like to suggest some ideas for presents for people who are interested in architecture, photography and art. During the last year, I have contributed to several elegantly designed and gorgeously produced books on architecture: Det ny København – a book about the way the city has developed, written by a former City Architect, Jan Christiansen; Bellahøj – a story about a building complex, written by Jannie Rosenberg Bendsen, Birgitte Kleis and Mogens Andreassen Morgen; and Philip de Lange – a book about an architect who created buildings all over Denmark in the 18th century, written by Vera Noldus. All three books have been published by Strandberg Publishing. Last, but not least, I have myself published an artist book, Reflecting Home, a poetic book of photographs about identity, everyday life and domesticity with a foreword by Kjeld Vindum.
On Saturday 5 December I am holding an open studio event, where items from my own art production will be on sale: prints, polaroids, books and artworks from exhibitions held in the last few years. Drop by STAMERS KONTOR, Tullinsgade 6, 1618 København V, between 10:00 and 14:00.
You will be most welcome!
Check out the event on Facebook.
